1. S’Arrosseria (Colonia de Sant Jordi)

Specialty: Rice and paellas
Schedule: 12:00 – 17:00. Confirm according to season.
Location: Near the port, 100 meters from the promenade.
As its name suggests, S’Arrosseria is the temple of rice in Colonia de Sant Jordi. Its specialty is traditional paellas, from the classic seafood paella to creative combinations such as artichokes with squid. The secret is in the point of the rice: creamy inside, with crispy socarrat in the bottom. The portions are generous. Family atmosphere, with tables both inside and on the terrace overlooking the sea.
Recommended: Artichoke and squid paella, lobster rice.
2. Cassai Beach House (Colonia de Sant Jordi)

Specialty: Mediterranean cuisine with creative touches
Location: Seafront, overlooking the island of Cabrera
Located in an old fisherman’s house transformed into a modern and sophisticated space, Cassai Beach House offers a unique dining experience. The terrace overlooking the Mediterranean is the perfect setting to enjoy dishes that celebrate Mediterranean simplicity: grilled octopus, garlic prawns, salt sea bass and lobster paella. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, ideal for a special dinner at sunset.

3. Berna Pizzas Take Away (Ses Salines)

Specialty: Handmade pizzas and pinsa romana
Opening hours: Monday 18:00-22:30, Wednesday-Thursday 18:00-22:30, Friday-Sunday 13:00-22:30 (Tuesday closed)
Location: Carrer Morell, 36, Ses Salines
More than 40 years elaborating handmade pizzas with long fermentation dough. It also offers the pinsa romana: base elaborated with 3 types of flour, 70 hours of fermentation that makes it lighter and more digestive. Perfect for an informal dinner in your apartment or an impromptu pizza party.
Recommended: Pinsa romana, Galician octopus pizza, calzone.
4. Casa Manolo – Bodega Barahona (Ses Salines)

Specialty: Traditional Mallorcan cuisine, fish and seafood
Location: Plaça Sant Bartomeu, 2, Ses Salines
This old wine cellar converted into a restaurant has been an institution in the south of Mallorca since 1945. The Barahona family has maintained the essence of traditional Mallorcan cuisine for four generations. Specialties such as squid (calamar de potera), arroz de notari, caldereta de bogavante (24h in advance) and pan de cristal (glass bread) are a must. The atmosphere is authentic, with family photos and hams hanging from the wooden beams. Personalities such as the Spanish royal family and Rafa Nadal have visited.
Recommended: Squid, notari rice, lobster stew.
5. Es Cantonet (Santanyí)

Specialty: Mediterranean tapas with Asian influences
Location: Calle Bernareggi, 2, Santanyí
Es Cantonet combines Mediterranean tradition with creative and Asian touches in a cozy atmosphere. Its menu includes tapas to share, carpaccios, homemade ravioli and grilled meats. The lamb is especially recommended. Ideal for an informal dinner after a stroll through the Santanyí market (Wednesdays and Saturdays).

6. Sa Fusteria (Ses Salines)

Especialidad: Cocina mediterránea de mercado
Horario: Miércoles-Domingo 17:00-22:00 (Lunes y martes cerrado según temporada)
Ubicación: Carrer Morell, 28, Ses Salines
Located in an old carpentry shop dating back to 1874, Sa Fusteria maintains the rustic charm of the original building with stone walls and a beautiful interior patio. The menu focuses on fresh seasonal products: fish of the day, risottos, meats and tapas. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic, perfect for special dinners. Reservations are recommended in advance, especially for the interior terrace.
7. Es Mestral (Ses Salines)

Specialty: Grilled meats and local produce
Location: Ses Salines
Es Mestral is distinguished by working with local and proximity products: lamb from their own farm, fresh fish from the area and seasonal vegetables. Its specialty is grilled meats, cooked with mastery. It is an obligatory stop for lovers of quality meat.
8. S’Amarador (Sa Ràpita)

Specialty: Rice dishes, paellas and fresh fish
Location: Sa Ràpita, overlooking the harbor
S’Amarador is synonymous of good rice in Sa Ràpita. Its paellas, generous and loaded with seafood (crayfish, red shrimp), are perfect to share with family or friends. The terrace with direct views of the port adds a plus to the seafood atmosphere. They also offer a take-away paella service, ideal if you prefer to enjoy it in your apartment.

9. S’Oratge (Sa Rapita)

S’Oratge proposes a Mediterranean cuisine reinterpreted with creativity and respect for the local product. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, ideal for those looking for something different without losing the essence of Mallorcan gastronomy. Perfect for a special dinner in the center of Sa Rapita.
10. Restaurant Nàutic (Sa Ràpita)

Specialty: Mediterranean cuisine, sea views
Location: Esplanada del Puerto, s/n, Sa Ràpita
For over 25 years, Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita has been a reference for its spectacular sea views and changing light, especially in spring. Located in the heart of Sa Ràpita, it offers a relaxed dining experience with unbeatable views of the marina. Mediterranean specialties, rice dishes and fresh fish in an authentic nautical atmosphere.
Recommended: Paella, sea bream in salt, sunset views.
Tips to enjoy the gastronomy of the south
Reservations: In high season (July-August), especially at Casa Manolo and Cassai, reservations must be made in advance.
Opening hours: Restaurants are usually open for lunch from 13:00 to 15:30 and for dinner from 19:30 to 22:30. Some are closed one day a week.
Local product: Take the opportunity to try the local fish (squid, rooster, sea bass), rice dishes and seasonal vegetables.
